Working at a veterinary office I do see quite a few variety of pet types. For the most part though, cats and dogs tend to be the most common. Horses and rabbits are pretty common too around here, but on the days when a not so average pet comes through the door, we all get a little excited. It is fun to switch things up a bit, and any animal lover can appreciate all types of animals. My specialty for the most part though happens to be dogs. That means while I can visit with the “odd” pets, I do not get to diagnose or treat them. Still though I want to share all types of information about all pets on this site, and I found some really helpful videos for certain pets that are not very common to own. Hopefully you will be able to learn a bit about some different pets, and you might even find out that an untypical pet is for you and your family.
